Southampton Common Landscape Proposals

In January 2016 Southampton City Council appointed Davies White Landscape Architects to engage and develop landscape design proposals for a new nature play space on Southampton Common.

Davies White Ltd has already carried out several engagement sessions with council officers, stakeholder groups and local schools.

Davies White Ltd presented the design and scale model at several drop in public sessions held at The Hawthorns Centre on Southampton Common.

Davies White Ltd have taken on board the feedback and now developed the design even further.

Take a look at the images on the Proposal Page which show the background to the project and the latest design layout.

The next step is to secure the various statutory permissions and consents.

Southampton City Council continue to aim to have the works on site in early 2017 with the new play area open to the public by summer 2017.
